Umm... to avoid future confusion: That App is called "Logitech

SB Player for iPad is a Logitech app for controlling a SB device. I can

What you describe sounds like iPeng can't really communicate with your
server at all if you can't even browse your local library, I d
Thanks, pippin. I think the problem is an iPeng problem as I am able to
use the Squeezebox iPad app and can stream Tidal without issue as well
as play all the music on my NAS server running LMS. However, when I try
to use either iPeng classic or iPeng 8, it doesn't work. There is no
error message,

Is it working OK now?
LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi running Xubuntu 14.04, FLAC
Flysurfer, just a small point for you to consider for a future release.
Anyone using M2P for audio only, i.e. LMS and/or player, should be able
to do everything headless via your GUI and their normal LMS
controller/app. However I did have one small glitch in setting up my
audio system as I want it

iTunes Match can do that and they even allow 25k tracks but it's not
free.
On the upside you can upload crappy 128kbps MP3 rips and download
256kbps AAC files...

Yes you can do something similar on Android, however once downloaded you
can't then use Orange Squeeze to play them, it's download only.
Personally I have just less than the 20K limit for personal files on
Google Music so I've uploaded them all the the Google servers, the

Yea, it's been on the to-do list for iPeng forever. The main problem is
that people would expect it to work like a Squeezebox player and we'd
have to write all the player logic that's currently in the server
ourselves.
On Android you can just throw files at the system library but you can't
do that
@snoogly: you may try to use a simple USB-Stick to access some media
files and see if the same strange issue appears again. Althrough I don't
think your ODROID is broken, you will find out if the problem is caused
by your USB-Drives or by the ODROID itsself.

Sorry for not being precise enough! That was not what I had in mind.
I am looking for a Squeezebox soft client on iOS that is able to cache
albums from my local collection on my mobile device. Currently, I use
nPlayer for iOS to copy songs over to the application's download folder
on my iPhone.

Hi everybody,
I am trying to use this plugin with a Denon AVR-X1100W. One thing in
particular, which would be interesting for me is if I could display the
different multi-zones in the reveiver as seperate squeeze devices so
that I could select using iPeng's device overview the correct zone

Ok, so I've been dabbling with Ubuntu and like it, so this fascinates
me.
A couple of questions if you please.
So I should be able to build an odroid, plug in this card image, hook up
a wifi card and USB drive with music on it and:
Fire up LMS, scan the music, access the odroid as a Squeezebo

Hi snoogly,
the first mountpoint of the usb device is /media/usb0 that is symlinked
from /media/usb. If you did not connect an other usb-device and did not
reboot the device this should not happen. I can think of something like:
the usb-device gets unpowered by the external powersupply or shuts d

Thanks. Actually the unofficial API is progressing nicely... ;)

However, I do report the bugs. Like missing categories in Wimp plugin,
that was fixed eventually. Like inability to skip on Wimp Hifi tracks
(probably a Wimp backend problem).
Like the issue with Deezer, where you can't skip tracks in radio mode.
Next to that
