OK . My broadband is unreliable (v. old copper) and the ISP's DNS
server is also a bit flakey so I can get a lot of errors/rebuffering
when playing stream which has "tested" the DASH part.
Thanks for looking into this Greg.
That local volume variable is not used anywhere in the function, nor is
there any other reference to volume in the file.
It was added when Triode merged rpress' VU meter implemention for
jivelite in Oct 2013.
I've commented out the line for now to confirm.

I have max2play running for squeezebox en kodi. Did work great for more
than a month.
By now it gives me an error (see picture) and I can't go further.
Anybody any idea what has happened and how to fix it?

the linn works so far with dev4 (jumping between tracks is fine since i
use the dev4) only without gapless. wav are played but converted into
FLAC. but that's not really a problem. also DSD (with the DSD plugin)
works with converting into FLAC.
tried also dev5 and set dual GET to 404, everything
Hi Pinkdot,
Really appreaciate you (previous) achievement building Synology packages
for LMS 7.9.0
Kudos!
Helped me out, since the released version from Synology (7.7.3-044)
apperantly had a memory leak that could last a small week before
'stalling' occupying too much RAM.
I was close to go
some logfiles bevor using the repo.
I managed to get the linn play again flac (supported codes must be set
to flc,pcm,mp3)
The next track is only played when gapless is set to no (but the linn
supports gapless) but with a one-second gap.
As i can see in the log even when the gapless is set on
I have installed this plugin on my Vortexbox and its picked up my Arcam
AVR Amp which is what I wanted it to do. Have to say great little app
to. Local music, spotify and bbc streams all work great but Tidal says
my player is unsupported so wont work. Is there anyway around this as
this is now

Hi all,
I added two more packages to the list, these are DSM4 packages! See
first post for installation instructions.
Please report any issues if the occur or if the install instructions are
not correct (its been a while since I used DSM4 ;-)
Greetings,
Martin
-Synology nas DS115 - Logitech
First of all thanks for the great effort.
I have tested the plugin with only DASH selected from settings. LMS
7.8.1 - 1446451964. on Odroid U3 Max2Play.
bbciplayer:
Dash is working. Not as smooth as hls, but working. It needs sometimes a
few clicks to play and skip forward is sometimes working,

Proxy disabled for test, now listen again streams are coming as 96kbps

Plugins::BBCiPlayerExtra::ExtraPlayableParser::parse (29) DASH has been
disabled - choose RTMP

I'm using a proxy for other purposes, so you can consider as in the uk,
because BBC is forwarded, too.

bpa, somehow DASH in iplayerextra settings got disabled, now it's
playing. Cache db delete and reboot must have worked.

AFAICT You are outside the UK - so no 320kbs will be offered.
If you want retest with the your VPN on do so with
plugin.bbciplayer.dash logging set to INFO.

I suspect your proxy may be causing problems as Latest by Station/ BBC
jazz through Extra work OK for me.
Can you enable logging

In the log
Code:
[15-12-14 02:15:30.6273] Plugins::BBCiPlayerExtra::ExtraPlayableParser::parse
(29) DASH has been disabled - choose RTMP
