Freaked out when I saw message come up re byebyespotify, been dreading

But saved by the Spotty! Installed (on Rpi piCoreplayer) super easy and
running immediatly.

Ok, another update is on its way to you. Most important changes:
- missing album artwork fixed
- show artwork for all artists in your library
- fix list sorting
- browse your huge library lists and playlists - by providing your own
Client ID
The last point is highly experimental!
Is there any way this will work on a Windows Squeezebox server? Would
love to have this working and ditch the chromecast

I was using the Spotify Family plugin from triode. There I had the
option to control it completly via command line. I used it to control
the LMS from my home automation server (FHEM). I really would like to do
the same with Spotty. How? (Or did i just not see it here?)

You are probably logged in Maybe a firewall setting stopping the

BBC seem to have started the Radio 3 Live stream again ahead of the
Proms.
To play Flac - you need the V 1.5.4.* of the plugin as Flac is a bit of
an experiment by BBC. Once installed then you need to set Live Stream
setting to "DashFlac > DASH" and play the "BBC Radio 3 Flac" stream

I can confirm missing album art for some tracks after updating to
v1.1.1.
Example: Die Drei ??? Kids - 33 - Nacht im Kerker is missing album art
for all album tracks.

Only tonight I read about Spotify stopping the support for Squeezebox. I
was really shocked, since I'm not ready to part with my SB touch which
still does everything I want it to. But Spotify has become an important
part of it...

Just noticed those tracks without album artwork don't show album name
either, but they play ok.

Just letting you know I think I have resolved the problem with my Pi3 /
pCp 3.2 based LMS.
The device in question was simply doing to much work. It was both LMS
and a Player (part of a sync group) and had a Touchscreen. The issue
however was mostly the fact it also had a USB DAC.

I'm also looking at the option Spotify is offering, a Gramofon with 25%
discount. Looks interesting as well.
That product is almost as old as the Radio. And they don't have any
other product. I'm not sure it's the future...

No. I never have thought of this option.

I have an old system that 's playing well for almost 5 years now. It's a
LMS V9 on a small dockstar.
I'm using spotify as a premium user on it till now !
But Spotty doesn't run on the dockstar (no hf compliant) !

Are you running the latest and greatest 1.1.1? What does the server.log
say? If you set plugin.spotty=INFO (Settings/Advanced/Logging) we'd see
all queries it sends to

Check Settings/Information. There's the full search path for binaries
