Issue occured when Squeezebox player "Wohnen" has been powered and
turned on. Player Wohnen was synced with a group of other players.
Thanks, I'll have to look into this. Not sure I get to it today, though...

I tested using another computer and the issue did not occur!
That's re-assuring.
Can you provide more details such as ports and what type of
communication are used for 'Spotify Connect' so that I can continue to
troubleshoot on that original PC, which is the machine I have to use as
my LMS
Also, did you see my post about the 2.4 and 5 GHz router channels? I
guess that's not the issue, but seems suspicious.
I wouldn't expect this to cause Spotty specific issues as you describe them.

Put it yesterday in dev repository. It allows playlist transfer between
Players/Groups, compatible in the test I've made with MWWM and iPeng.
It's slower than when you do transfer between real players, but works.
Feedback welcome

Also, I notice that the "2nd iPhone" not only doesn't see "Dan's
Squeeze", but it also doesn't "see" the Spotify desktop client (which is
running on the same PC as LMS) as a potential spotify connect

Not that i'm complaining bitterly but just curious how Spotty works.
here's what's happening:
when the RPi boots up, a script starts up a favorite playlist which
happens to be Spotify.
and it streams just fine.
but the Spotify app (both

putting it together and maintaining it.
Couple of observations:
- Notifications seem a little inconsistent - not necessarily appearing
at the point the song changes
- Would it be possible to include volume up / volume

With normal connection a reply will be received within 1 sec - it was
necessary to double check setting was not set too low.
I feel the problem is with the network/server setup which is why a test

If it is LMS specific - then the only setting I can think of would be
the WebUI Setting/Advanced/Network Radio Station Timeout - it could be
too small (this is the time LMS waits for a reply to the http/GET for
the BBC xml URL) .
What is the current value of this setting ?

It seems OK, but I haven't time to do any detail testing for a day or 2.
Never fear - if I get any problems I'll let you know!
