SLX will check if output device is available and if not, it will revert to Default. (I do this because the squeezelite player will fail if I try to start it up with an output device that does not exist, and often I cannot recover, so I need to make sure SLX does not do that.) Maybe what you are saying is have SLX remember what you wanted so that when you do reconnect the USB Audio card it will work. I'll think about how that might possibly be done. Rather than revert to Default, maybe it would be better just stop and show an error. If the Operating System randomly renames the USB audio cards between sessions, then I don't know if it is possible for me to work around that. [SlimDevices: Plugins] AirPlay Bridge does find player, but not shown in "Players" in LMS
Hi I am trying to use my appleTV 4K and my Yamaha RX-V685 receiver as LMS clients. Airplay is enabled in both (I can see them from my Mac) and the Airplay Bridge does find then 27130 but I don't see them in the list of players in any LMS interface (iPeng or LMS). Menus etc are handled by LMS. Is there a possibility OPML file has been edited/changed as URL for logo are in the OPML file. I'm guessing logo did not load in time and now LMS will use "cached" failure. It may appear later. In the LMS desktop gui both BBC R4 and the World Service have no logo 27126 If I use my Android tablet, Orange Squeeze shows no station logo and Squeeze Ctri does show the station logo :confused: It's not a big deal, just an anomaly. The HTTP module says "596 - errors during TLS negotiation, request sending and header processing." Are you using a VPN to play UK from non-UK. If so users have had problem with NORD VPN on akamai CDN. Why are you using HLS ? Why not DASH ? or is DASH failing and so HLS is being tried and failing as well ? Try the alt-CDN live stream (I.e. Limelight vs Akamai) to see if it is CDN specific. Sorry but I am unable to get into my Sonicorbiter server that way. Andrew intentionally makes that difficult to save himself headaches later. ?!? that's a standard LMS feature: Settings/Advanced/Logging. There you can select what to log. And there is a download link for the log file. If Andrew's strategy to save himself headaches is to cause others more of it, then he should rethink his strategy... I can point to an example album though. could anybody tell me where to look for artist picture maybe downloaded? Check out your LMS' cache folder. There should be a "mai" sub-folder with the images. if i don't want these longer time during scanning, do i need to deactivate all of the options and the plugin will do a research online when i will ask for something? The online search is what makes the scan take a long time. I'd suggest you define a folder where to store the images (as per settings page). The plugin then will keep a copy of the downloaded files in there. It would also allow you to replace files you don't like. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Music ans Artist Information Plugin data folders
Hi! i need some help i installed this useful plugin, and i left the options as default, without indicate any directory as data folders...the truth is that i didn't looked at the settings, sorry! anyway, at the first scan it takes 2 hours more than usual, as "artist picture lookup" then i read the thread about MAI, but i am not able to find where it has been storing the data i think it has downloaded... my music structure is each album with this scheme, for instance "Bob Dylan - 1969 - Nashville Skyline" with flacs inside could anybody tell me where to look for artist picture maybe downloaded? or it was just a "lookup" without downloading anything? at the next scan it will take less time or again 2 hours? if i don't want these longer time during scanning, do i need to deactivate all of the options and the plugin will do a research online when i will ask for something? as i said, i read the thread but i still have these doubts...sorry if it was already clarified! thanks again! mike mikk64's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32571 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110446 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
