Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I think you have hit on the problem. The Soma pls doesn't work and nor does an example AAC that I downloaded. At the risk of heading off topic, is there a fix to get the Classic & Duet transcoding the AAC again? It worked before the holiday and it worked on earlier Debians/OMV and LMS. I shall post elsewhere if appropriate. Thanks for the help so far. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Thanks for the speedy responses. I think your feeling could be right. I use my Classic 90% of the time and that has the issue. It gives "Stopped" on the first Play press, and "Item not found" or similar on subsequent presses. I tried the Duet and it behaves exactly as the Classic, i.e. only playing mp3. However, the Radio behaves exactly as it should, playing all versions of Listen Again. I have done nothing to the system, I went on holiday on 16th and all was well. I got back last night and the Classic wasn't working. For the record I did upgrade the OS a week before the holiday and reinstalled LMS. However, as above, LMS was working fine on the new installation. Any idea what could be happening and, more importantly, how I fix it? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I am just back from holiday and the only bit of the iPlayer plugin that is now working is the Listen Live mp3 one, the others just give the thumbnail and a zero below it (i.e. Listen Live UK & non-UK, Listen Live alt CDN UK & non-UK, and Listen Again). BBCiPlayer Extras does the same. I have http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml and http://sbplugins.servies.net/repo.xml installed, with "Update plugins automatically" ticked. All worked fine on 16th Nov. Any ideas, please? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Mixcloud plugin?
I'm new to the plugin and can't get it to work. I confirmed I am human and the API key is in the plugin settings. I can go through the directory structure in my browser to a given mix (or drop the URL in to the URL link) and after a 10s-15s delay I get the artwork, the album, the artist and the bitrate, e.g: YUEN YUEN Xclusive Mix x Mixology andrea_mi 320kbps/70kbps, MP3/MP4 (Mixcloud) However, the track timer stays on zero and there's no music. When I go in to Mixcloud on a Duet handset I get the same artwork, etc and then get a brief flash saying "Unable to play this file type." I have tried switching from MP4 to MP3. Any idea what I might need to do to resolve this, please? In case it helps, the BBC iPlayer plugins work well, as do Soundcloud and Radio Paradise (FLAC & 192kbps). My confirmation of being a human is done on a PC which is on the same router as the LMS server. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Could someone kindly identify whether the fix of iPlayer is for dummies and where to locate details, please? I see there is a detailed fix here http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103312-BBCiPlayer-plugin-a-guick-fix-guide but it looks a bit heavy for my skill level. I am running LMS on a mini-ITX running ClearOS. When I tried to install the PlayHLS workaround at the end of February my system collapsed and I have had to rebuild it, so I am not keen on trying that route again. (I may be running ClearOS but that doesn't mean I know anything about Linux - it took me three days to reinstall the OS and LMS.) Using the radiotime tune-ins as a workaround is maddening as Radios 4 and 5 are forever rebuffering. And I miss Listen Again. Many thanks. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Just to repeat the thanks of other forum members for the plug-in. I use it everyday. I have also upgraded to 7.6 and seen iPlayer move from Internet Radio to My Apps. Some pages earlier there was a query on where the plug-in should sit and the consensus seemed to be Internet Radio. If this is still open my vote is to put it back to Internet Radio, I never use My Apps. -- Shellness Shellness's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17122 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem - Show all 3rd party plugins
I can no longer find the show all 3rd party plugins option. I was running SS 7.5.0-1 and removed all plug-ins (i.e. removed the ticks/checkmarks) in order to test whether a plug-in was causing a problem with a player. Removing the ticks caused the plug-in page to revert to the pre v7.3 style, i.e. no third party plug-ins showing. Having resolved my player problem (it wasn't the plug-ins' fault) I wanted to reinstall the plug-ins but there was no show all 3rd party plugins option in the plug-ins page of Settings. Thinking I may have messed something up, I installed SS 7.5.1-1. However, the plug-in page still lacks a show all 3rd party plugins option and has the appearance of the old, pre-7.3 page. Any ideas how I can get the page back to listing all plug-ins, per chance? Thanks. -- Shellness Shellness's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17122 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80205 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
