There's no other 'always
My LMS is running on my ReadyNAS 314 server. Is there a simple guide to
getting this working on that?

I am having exactly the same problem since the last LMS update.
I see no Apps in the default LMS skin, but I do see them in Material
Skin and via iPeng.
I have double checked by MySqueezeBox.com login, restarted LMS and my
server multiple times.
Michael is saying that this is due to an outdated
Has anyone had any luck with this recently?

Yes; sorry if it wasn't clear - I have Michael Herger's Spotty Plugin
for LMS, as well as the Spotty Controller Alexa Skills App for my Echo
Dot. I don't know of they are 'related'
Is that Spotty related to this Spotty?
With both enabled, I find I can select which music to be played, stop
and start and skip tracks, alter volume, change Playlists and transfer
current music from player to player and then to the Echo Dot and even to
my iPad and back again all with voice

The only thing I can't currently do is synchronise
Thanks for this Michael; excellent.
By far not the worst thing about all this is being able to control the
music coming out of my home Hi-Fi system by my Apple Watch, via Connect
on my iPhone! :)

I occasionally get this when I try to play a BBC stream.
Then I remove the iPlayer plugin and try to reinstall it; but then I get
this message saying -"Bad repository
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/V154testrelease-repo.xml
- Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor" -whichever

Thanks, yes! That was it. They key was fine, but I had pasted it twice -
doh!
I'm in now, but have a few problems - I get three reactions when I try
to play, either:
- it works fine
- I get a 'No Streams Found'
philippe_44 wrote:

Fair point:
- ReadyNAS 314
- Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1
- SSH installed and updated as per Thread instructions
- Server Log attached:
23548
I think I have done everything right; but it doesn't work. All I can see
in the log is a '400 Bad Request' whenever it tries to execute a
YouTube-related command.

OK; been through all that thread.
As a result I have updated to iPlayer 1.5.4.4

I'm going through that; but in the meantime I realise that - for the
avoidance
I'm on LMS 7.9.1 on a ReadyNAS 314 with the BBC iPlayer Add-on 1.3.1
alpha 3.
The BBC iPlayer add-on description says that:
"-Users outside the UK are now able to receive restricted
bitrate versions of all the content available to UK users. This includes
listen again recordings of the last 7
Has anyone managed to get Spotty to show up as a 'Device' in the Spotify
interface Connect options?

This is all working great; but is there any way to get access to some of
the other Browse areas in Spotify?
I'm particularly thinking of Discover Weekly, Release Radar and the Top

I seem to have installed Spotty, and get some music out - but while LMS
is running I keep getting a series of bursts of 4 CMD.EXE windows boxes
opening up continuously, as if it is trying to install something it
can't find.
Any ideas?
Further questions:
- what is the "IO:Socket:SSL module"; do

As an incompetent Squeezebox user I am very grateful for this fix.
I would be happy to contribute via PayPal.
