I just wanted to let you know that we now released our Stretch Image
officially!
It coincided the release of the Raspberry Pi 3B+ so already integrated
the new Kernel necessary to boot the device.
This official successor of our Jessie Image runs on all Pi's including
the 3B+ and comes

connected an external hard drive to the unt.
When I set up Max2Play with SqueezeLite, I changed the player name from

The 'official' backup routine (on the max2play website) seems overly
complicated. Is it possible to simply make an image using
Win32DiskImager program?

So I upgrade LMS to latest nightly using the built in installed. Then
suddenly GMusic wasn´t loaded anymore.
I tried to install the plugin again but now I get this at startup in
log:
Invalid indent width detected at line 2
at /usr/local/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/perl/5.20.2/Inline/Python.pm line
Anyone got M2P to work fine with GMusic without skips?
I have this problem with track skipping before end and one solution
seems to be to disable ipv6, which require a license.

My Max2Play server has two IP addresses. It doesn't seem to cause any
issues but is annoying. Anyone else seeing this? You can check connected
devices in your router settings or an app like Fing.

you also have a Digi+ Pro and of course we also reply to support
requests much quicker there.
Please detail your setup, steps so far and issues you have encounter so
that we can help you as fast as possible.
I couldn't get the goddam thing to work without a license, no matter
what I did.
Note, this was after hitting the update max2play button.

Yep that's the default, the problem with it as I remember from a couple
of weeks ago is the big pop up that wants you to select Hifiberry or
iQuaudio (as it was in my case). I tried it and got in such a tangle
that I returned to the "simple" way. The trouble is, I think I had
already "registered"

According to their website the HiFiBerry plugin isn't "Premium", so
maybe you don't "need" a license, I'm not sure.

Right, so the player is selected in the LMS web gui (max2play) and you
have selected a radio station or file and have that playing.
from the LMS web gui go to settings>player>select the dac that is
playing>audio from the dropdown> volume at 100%>click apply and check
for the light.

Usually, this should not be a problem for our password plugin. This was
just a suggestion to rule out an irregularity of your previous password
as the source of error. If you continue experiencing issues with the
plugin, please start a topic in our forums so that we can isolate the
problem and

I back up my SD card first (with the current settings and upgrades )
NB i did not use any umlauts in the PW or user ? i would try something
extremely simpel as "a" ?

Well things are working now after some fumbling around .
I recommend to reserve the devices ip in the router as the built in
fixed ip settings somewhats breaks DNS it could for example not install
the VNC plugin in this mode . and did not find all repos for upgrades
(it did find some )

If you bought the SD card from us, the quality should not be an issue.
In this case, a freshly burnt image would indeed be the best solution.

Yes it must be the image/card I used my dietPi image it worked fine .
There is not even any led's flashing on the Ethernet with the Max2play
SD card
