That log doesn't show me anything unexpected - except for quite a few
server restarts within an hour or two. But I guess that was you?
What OS & hardware are you running LMS on?

Pity, now (since 2.3.2??) it stops playing at track transitions. There
is really nothing in the log... as far as I can see.

Now (spotty 2.3.2???) it even stops with mp3 encoding, but only at song
transitions. I have attached a new log file.

Ok, music stopped again after one or two songs when enabling FLAC in
file types settings. I have attached the log file. Spotty was updated to
2.3.2 before. I have now disabled FLAC again.

You might be right. Unfortunately my AP is the router of my provider.
Using a different AP is mre complicated.
Since setting disabling FLAC and PCM in file types settings for spotty,
such that it reencodes to mp3, it has been working flawlessly, streaming
to SB Touch and Radio and iOS devices
In my setup, WiFi quality had the biggest impact on Spotty performance.
Not sure what APs you use, but it might help to try upgrading your
firmware to the latest revision. I am running Ubiquiti APs - 1 AC Pro
and 1 AC Lite, upgraded the firmware last month and (fingers crossed)
performance has

No, I can't. I have not used the spotify app at all, only for getting
the plugin to work. I control via touch, radio directly or via browser
or ipeng app.
Oh, now that's interesting. I thought that was pretty much rock solid.
And there's little reason why it would stop after some time. The

Maybe two songs is not always true: I listened several hours this
morning and only had to restart the server five or six times.
Can you confirm that this is limited to "Connect" mode, eg. controlling
your SB using the Spotify app on your mobile phone? Playing back while
controlling on the SB

That's not alarming. Memory shouldn't be the issue. Can you check the
other settings for Spotty. Is the "local announcement" box checked or

Disabling transcoding to flac would take out one risk of the equation

Hi Michael,
memory is quite full. Here is what top says during spotty playback:
24964
But not completely full...
Could it have to do with cenverting Ogg to FLAC, Web interface says:
705kb/s CBR, Ogg Vorbis (Spotify) (Konvertiert in FLAC)
Why is that?
Thanks, Michael. Will check memory usage tonight.
I tried the other helper, but never got any sound, only clicking.

The daemon seems to be crashing quit often, the log mentions re-starting
it regularly. Could you please check memory usage on your system? Or
give another spotty helper a try (see Settings/Advanced/Spotty)?

Hi all,
I cannot get the spotty plugin to work reliably for me. I have it
running on a raspi 2B with the max2play v2.46 and a nightly server from
the 7.9 branch a few weeks old. Playback devices are a touch and a
radio.
After server restart, spotty will play two songs and then, when starting
