I solved this
Further to my message yesterday I can confirm that for some reason the
messages are not being passed to SpamSieve. I just down loaded 231
messages and only two of those were passed to SS, the rest, many of which
were spam went straight to my In tray.
Can someone explain why this is happening

hope you will remain happy with your choice. I use PM since years and
even though some other applications have their pro's, I am way too happy

Maybe I'm missing something but I already had SpamSieve working in v4, I
set the prefs in v5 to use SS but all of the spam seems to be getting
into my In Tray - it's as if no filters are working. What have I done
wrong or not done?
