Not without one helluva fight, it won't... (and we PM users are not

This is a file related problem, but I don't see exactly what.
At least it works for me
how many copies of SpamSieve you have on your Mac.
I think it should be only 1.

It does definitly not! Different to PM 5.0
Since PM 5.01, the program is allways (means: once after mounting) asking
where SpamSieve is.
Seems to be a bug.
Put SpamSieve to the Application Folder.
That should work ...

Since Version 5.01 PM always ask for SpamSieve. After manually selecting
from the
'Where is SpamSieve'-Window, it works. But after closing SpamSieve, PM
ask again.
SpamSieve is still placed in the unmodified PM-Folder.

Hi, we also have the same SMTP server, and it works for my accounts on
that server. I just created an account for her email address on my
powermail, and was able to send mail - tried it again from hers, and
still no go. I then started up Powermail 4.2.1 on hers, created a new

Secondly, I prefer the 3 pane views of the Browser Layout because then I
don't have PM message windows opening in
I had already run the IPhoto Mailer Patcher version 2.0, but it still
does not recognize PowerMail. I ran the Patcher again restoring iPhoto to
its original state and then ran the Patcher again. Same problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Dan

Could be that a setting in 'Outgoing SMTP Server' needs changing.
Have a word with your ISP.

Bingo. Thanks so much for pointing that out - and indeed to all the rest
