That's the way I would do it. The only other way I think it could be done
is four individual .jpgs, one for each side. This would be too much of a
pain to manage though.

Oh, make sure the .jpg you are using has an invisible background or at least
is pure white. If there is any kind of coloring (even just a shade
off-white) it will show up when printed.

Worked OK in development mode but when I compiled my app I get an error

I don't think there is a property, it's a feature that showed up in
VFP9 for the grid. I don't know of any way to control it, other than
to make the column wide enough to never see it, or small enough to
always see it.

All you have to do it put the border on the title section and make it the size
of the whole page. Then put the printer fields in the correct area, then
place the optional picture where you want it.
I used to do this with form letters. Rather than recreating the form, all I
did was scan it
