Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that microwave ovens and 2.4 Ghz phones will
impede WiFi signals. I have tested that with a WiSpy Spectrum Analyzer
unit, and it is amazing how much bouckground signal noise exists in the
2.4Ghz unlicensed spectrum. It can all cause problems
I've had a Linksys WRT54G for 1 or 2 years and have
never had a problem. I'm even running the factory firmware ...

mine has been running for five months now with no problems at all - factory
firmware and configured as a hub, which is supposed to deprecated.

Anyone have a linksys wag352g wireless. I think mine must be version 1.0 as
it has no version on it, but anyone know what annex A or B is ?

When my wireless acts up, it has been due to another wi-fi router in the
area broadcasting on the same channel. A hard reboot would clear it up for
10 minutes, maybe. I changed the channel and now the routers work well. Both
my D-Link and LinkSys routers do this to me.

Dump the Linksys and look for a Netgear box. I had exactly the same issues with
a Linksys and no matter what it would
lock up on our Cablevision system. So one day after the 5th or so reset (for
the day) I bounced it off the wall and
bought a Netgear box and haven't

Thanks for all the input, folks.Seems like everything else - YMMV.
Sounds like Jack and a few others have been down the exact same road.
Sometimes flashing the unit helps, sometimes it doesn't. I just don't have

I understand the really old units were susceptible to
permenant damage if updating the flash failed for
certain reasons.
A friend of mine who is a real pitbull with getting
things replaced, locked horns with Linksys and still
