I have not tried this program, but what happens if you change the
program associated with DDB files to CONTROL LAUNCHER?

Thanks to those who contributed opinions to my 'P99SE or DXP' question. I
haven't decided yet, but I thought it interesting that there wasn't an
over-whelming push to DXP.

I am considering AI for designing instrument front panels. What do other
people use? Our publications department people love it, but they're using
it every day. I'll use it a few times a year. But I want to get away from
the blocky, 'designed by an engineer' appearance - you know, front panel

Hi there.
I, too, had this issue and was stumped at first.
Re-installing the printer driver seemed to alleviate the problem, but it
still popped up occasionally.
It became so bad, that I could no longer open design without getting an
access violation.
That prompted me to re-install P99SE and SP6

I would recommend "Draw 4" By Greenstreet.
It's inexpensive, easy to use, but surprisingly, has the necessary
horsepower when needed. You can set default templates -- I like a .1" grid
dot. Graphics will copy/paste nicely thru the clipboard.

I enthusiastically second this suggestion... Total Commander is very configurable and
immensely useful for managing files, quickly getting to your most used directories

Autocad or almost any other real (not EDA) CAD program. Ability to
generate and edit splined-curves is nice. Fine snap control also. Much
better than freehand...
Honestly, the only major problems I have with Protel "artwork" are line

still worked out at NASA, so we're talking around 2000. Could be worth

It's easy enough to just stop .ddb , .sch, .prj, .pcb and whate
Autocad is what our company uses.
