Just a couple of notes on the video,
I tried the on-board DVR with camera running, but no SD card in place. It
did NOT start recording. I.e., the red LED didn't come on. Only the green
LED (camera present) appears. So the SD card must have been in place when
the DVR was turned on on the

Could whoever has the airframe with the camera subsystem bring it to
tonight's meeting? I'm working on version 2 (rotatable camera) and would
like to work on the version 1 mount.

Bdale's right about there not really being any need for us to adhere to
Amateur DTV or any other digital TV specs. I tend to look too far into the
future toward an orbiter that broadcasts video that amateurs could receive.
Obviously anything available now will be horribly archaic by then :-)

I agree, and (for one) would be happy to get away from analog. The last
time I surfed for ADTV was about a year ago, so my knowledge is probably
outdated. I could only find a (Netherlands?) group that was pursuing it,
and it looked like their equipment was more ground-based, rack mount,
I have a copy of the file. The formats aren't unusual. I've got a complete
editing suite on my PC, as well as a nice freeware format convertor.
I'll try to bring in a compressed and edited file tomorrow night. Tell my
how you want it cropped, and I can do that.
