Found QgsRasterResampleFilter and couple of raster resampler classes.
Unfortunately can't make it work, any attempt to add QgsRasterResampleFilter
to the pipe fails.

I think this wording is historical thing. Previously Processing was
using real temporary files
to store intermediate and final outputs. When developing QGIS 3.0 we
have switched to
memory layers but have not adjusted this placeholder text.

if I'm not mistaken, these inputs only available inside expression editor
when
it opened from a modeler algorithm. And they are added as top-level items,
and don't belong to any group.

seems QGIS does not recognize relative paths for the GeoPackage and
Rasterlite raster layers, e.g. GPKG:./some/path/file.gpkg:layer. But
same path works fine from the command line with gdal utilities like
gdalinfo
Anyone confirms?

not available in the weekly standalone installer by default. Is this

Should we rethink this and move to expressions-based parameters
where possible now when number of adopted algorithms is relatively small?

every SAGA release.
As an option I can suggest to create altenate SAGA provider plugin which will
support non-LTR SAGA versions.
