the C++ headers can't be isolated.
Having the SpatialIndex header folder before the GEOS header folder in
cmakelists should work fine then.

QLibrary, which looks for a dylib and would need an explicit path to find a

I have a feature request for a QGIS-wide generic environment settings so that
plugin developers don't have to reinvent various common settings like PATH.

he *new* ECW SDK v4 is that so far (and very likely forever)
it is Windows-only. Everyone else is stuck with the partly working (at least
on OS X) and now-hard-to-find v3.
