Hi Wiliarto,
Your tcp.smtp file is missing a line similar to this one:
:allow,BADMIMETYPE=,BADLOADERTYPE=M,CHKUSER_RCPTLIMIT=50,CHKUSER_WRONGRCPTLIMIT=10,QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/simscan,DKSIGN=/var/qmail/control/domainkeys/%/private,NOP0FCHECK=1
Hope this closes your relay

I have solved this editing the file:
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Errno.pm
I make to match my architecture editing the one described into line 11, and
all files or rpms compiles fine

Hi,
First of all, sorry for my english, I'm french and I'm not the best on

I do research on security in the mail. In my studies I must set up a
model with an exchange server and a server which will do
anti-spamm/anti-virus and which will be in a dmz.
I decided to use qmail,

is there a method in either spamdyke or qmailtoaster to block emails from

You would only create an MX record for the QMT server since you (from

Hi all!
I've recently changed one of the domains on my qmail server from a
virtual domain (using vpopmail) to a secondary mx.
This domain is now listed in:
rcpthosts:domain.tld
smtproutes:domain.tld:mail.domain.tld
The DNS MX records are:
domain.tld. 2554 IN MX 10
I think he is asking that if the customer uses the submission port to send
email, they have to send email with a sender email address that exists on
the server rather than use a 3rd party email address as the sender email
address.

Have you received this type of spam since installing spamdyke? If so,
please post the headers from an example.
Have you modified the spamdyke configuration that qtp-install-spamdyke
installed?
If not, you might try enabling reject-ip-in-cc-rdns if that's feasible
for your use. See spamdyke
I'm guessing that your smtproutes point to the A record instead of the
MX record for the target domain.

For those that have paid for the download, CentQMT5 version 1.2.0 is out

For those that have not paid for a download, it is available here:

This reminds me, are the QTP newmodel updates ready for Centos

No rush at all, just curious.

Thanks Eric,
I assume the correct order of updating is:
- Check
the repo for new QTP packages
- Run Newmodel
- Run yum update
for kernel, etc.
Anything to NOT take on the Centos
updates? It seems I have quite a few waiting.

I'd update the base OS first. That'll pick up any QTP changes as well,
provided you're using the yum repo.

That's not intuitively obvious, but painfully trivial. ;)
