Hello again,
My name is Lana and my son Gabe is 32 and has a C4-5 SCI, 10
yrs post. He also has other disabilities. He cannot participate right now.
Question: Gabes BP goes up in the afternoon around 3:00 everyday. When
he lies down it goes right back down. So it appears to be AD to me.

So what if they do Carol? As we said before what good does
your RACIST Bitching do to change the WORLD complaining to THIS small group of
QUADS ??? We have zero to do with it...besides go find a racist room to
spread your crap---your not even a quad and since you came on this list
Just saying bye to all on the list for a while, I'm tired of
the REPEATED racial crap-- week after weekI was gonna leave a few weeks
back but I waited to see if it would quit. Life is tough enough without people
continually depressing me with racial bigottry. There are good and bad
Great idea Carol. I'm going to try standing again RIGHT NOW. I've had about enough of being content with this sitting down lifestyle the past 38 years. WHAT was I thinking?

Lana,
Andy,
Along with the SCI Gabe has CP and a
severe speech impairment that hasnt allowed him to use voice activated
software. Im hoping that as new stuff comes out and he gets interested
hell join in. We are working on it. Im putting a lot of time into
switches and modifying the computer
I was hoping this racist crap would just end like some other
topics that have nothing to do with living as a quad, but it seem like
every time it is going to, this bitch Carol comes out with another
ignorant comment that everyone responds to. Like you said Dan, all she is
doing is stirring up
Mark,
Gabes diastolic climbs to 90-95
then he lays down and it drops back to the 70s within minutes. We dont
push it because we know where it can go.
Thanks,
Lana

Hi Ronnie,
It's great to see you've found the Quad-List. I'm gladthat 40k is protected in a trust until you find a house. You might want to talk with someone at Fannie Mae about what kind of loan you might be able to get, and keep your money in the trust. I found thisfrom their Web Page Link
Ronnie,
The Fannie Mae is a great suggestion. Have you made
contact with your local Independent
Living Center.
They provide a variety of things. They may be able to help you find services
when you get out and into your house. They may also be able to help or refer
you to other agencies
Lana,
Have you looked at morse code or scanning? I use a sip and puff to input
morse code. No voice, no movement needed. Just need to use 1, 2 or 3
switches.
See my web page at

Hi Lana,
Welcome back! Does Gabe's BP just go up when he is setting up? If so you might want to check the tubing to his leg-bag for any kinks. It may be that his urine flow is being cut down when he is up, and that would cause his BP to go up.
I agree with your words. We all need to celebrate
Hey Lana,
Sometimes old tech still works fine, there's a lot of people here that use amouthstick.
My bowels are slow also but you might want to try the Magic Bullet it helped me massively.
