When I emailed Eskimo.com support about your problem they said they
would remove the filters but added that the problem, with the
quad-list in particular, is with someone subscribed with aol.com
marking at least some message as junk mail and the way AOL handles it
somehow affects mail from
Eskimo North, the Internet site this List is on has been bouncing some
e-mails from Cox.Net. Someone was trying to e-mail me directly and kept
getting a bounced message saying a spam blocker was blocking the message. I
had to e-mail Eskimo and they put the person's address on a accepted list.
Well, damn...
Now that I *CAN* post again I don't have anything to say!
except, Thanks Wheelchair Jim for relaying my message(s) and getting
things resolved so quickly!!!

It seems that part of the problem is related to AOL. See the message
I received from eskimo.com support.
Jim, just a note here, a problem we have with
quad-list is that someone on it with an AOL address keeps marking list mail
as spam. But when AOL, moron idiots at AOL who I wish would
LOL, I am one of those 6 using AOL. I only noticed last week for the first
time in decades where an email ended up in my spam file. Its never happened
before. I've never consider any mail from the Quad List to be spam for
any reason. Besides, I only get bounced once or twice a year
Am I missing something here? Like a brain? If only AOL subscribers
are affected, then why is cox.net being rejected?

This probably still won't get to the List but at least W Dan will get it.
I'm guessing Cox.net and AOL may use the same service for identifying and
tracking spam. Perhaps sending to a spammed list (where address mining may
be occurring) is stopped as much as receiving spam is for others.

Don't feel bad Tod. I don't handle rejection very well either. (lol)

And *comcast.net* rejected too. Has been for 2+ yrs now. Therefore, sounds
like an ESKIMO problem.
So I was therefore forced to choose a browser program like this one
(gmail) to receive and post. Instead of just my regular mail to make life
easier. C'est la vie
