You need a reboot after the VTL software install. That is the only way the VTL fc driver is picked up and replaces the current qla2xxx driver. Please try a restart and then rescan for devices again on the TSM server side the VTL device should appear under /dev/ You can use

Hi, The warnings you mention are trivial and can be ignored. The reason you could only create 20 cartridges is because the VTL was configured with 20 slots. You can change the slot count by /quadstorvtl/bin/vtconfig -m -v -s Then restart For example the following will change the VTL
