Carole's 2+2 (1.6 CVH) is a good starter most of the time, but just lately
it has been giving us problems.
If it's left for more than a week or so it wont start!
The battery is good and the engine turns over well and there is a good
spark.

cleaning of contacts etc tomorrow. The strangest thing,as Steve mentioned
in his original post, is that the engine idles perfectly
at around 900 - 1000 rpm (according to the XR2 rev counter) when you first

the idle drops.
Also see if you can push (without excess force) the linkage onto the stop
and see if this effects the idle.

Yes a great weekend lots of fun and quite busy on Sunday. We all made it
back safe and sound, thanks to all for coming and especially all that

The get together for Christmas dinner will be on the Saturday 9th of
December. We plan to go to Bletchley Park during the day before going for a
Christmas dinner in the evening, Restaurant tbc when I know how many to
book for. If you would like me to arrange hotel / B accommodation please

I am afraid we cannot supply any Gluten free food, it would be much safer
for you to bring your own. However we can provide cooking facility's if
required.
