All, This is interesting. My original installation of Qubes had Debian 9. I upgraded it to Debian 10 following the Qubes documentation. No issues at all. In learning and working with Qubes I found I needed more drive space, so I deleted Debian. Having installed secondary storage for AppVMs

I am attempting to setup some secondary storage per https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/secondary-storage/ and when I run " sudo cryptsetup luksFormat --hash=sha512 --key-size=512 --cipher=aes-xts-plain64 --verify-passphrase /dev/sdc" I get "Device /dev/sbc doesn't exist or access denied". It's there
