Is a StandaloneVM equally secure as a AppVM that is created on it's own
TemplateVM ?
What is the "practical" difference between a StandaloneVM and a AppVM, and
when is it recommended to use a StandaloneVM instead of a AppVM ?
I have read this page:

Hello,
I recently started testing Qubes 4.1, and am really hoping to get some help
understanding why audio played in any AppVMs only works when I login to XFCE.
I have been using my own version of DWM, and for some reason, audio controls

Unfortunatelly when I turn off WebGL, everything starts to look pixelated
and the image quality sucks. I wish Google allowed my graphics card to work
instrad of my CPU. p.s. and yes, I also have 100% CPU load often. Same with
What the heck that sucks.. Have you tried with a video board? I am not
using motherboard video.. I know u must be anxious, at least I was, and
waiting around doesnt work for me.. I came crashing into qubes and it was a

I hear grub is suppose to be discontinued but dont listen to me, just take
what I say as other things to think about.. I couldn't make the grub menu
thing work, I used two seperate ssd's and use bios boot menu to select
which one is booted from.. But it sounds like your use may be slightly more
Hi,
I discovered some months ago https://gitlab.com/lechten/qubes.el/ by
Dr. Jens Lechtenbörger.
It implement qvm-copy, qvm-open, qvm-convert in emacs, dired, gnus.
With the last merge request I have done, there is some news :
- commands are invoked with `start-process-shell-command' so emacs
Hi. I will soon attempt to install Core Boot Skulls onto my Lenovo X230. I
purchased the X 230 with a Core I5 and 4 GB RAM. I have done several things
that I now know will not make the task easier.
Some of the advice on doing this is two years old and for a slightly different
X 230. I
And what the ISP sees after I start a Qube?
How can I see what my MAC is on a receiving website. Documentation suggests
that it would see a spoofed MAC. But that spoofed MAC needs to be
unpredictable and look normal.
When I had at home internet, the ISP allowed me onto their connection
Anyone have any experience with Cloning a working Qubes onto a 32 GB 3.1 flash
drive to later boot off of?
What is a useful piece of software to do the clone, that I can run as off
another USB key as a live version of Linux.
Could the cloned version of Qubes on the USB Flash drive be used
After installing qubes-windows-tools on a Windows 10 VM, I used it for a
while, everything worked. Now when I go to launch it again, instead of
having simply "qubes settings" and "start" like before, I have all the
windows apps to start. If I click on one of them, the VM starts but does
