For me, if the Yamaha PSR-A5000 has voice guide will purchase it. Saying
that Yamaha Genos/PSR-SX/A series aren't accessible is just an excuse
for not bying it.

This is just my opinion, but I would rather learn all the button press
sequences I need to than be completely shut out of a touchscreen because
Yamaha just didn't bother updating the voice guide to support that function.
I got a Roland Juno-DS61 a few days ago. It's a lot less expensive and
I haven’t tryed it with QWS till yet, so I don’t know how good it works on

Thanks. That’s good to know.
Do you use it
Hi Brian,
like with so much devices, it depends on what you want to do. What makes me a
bit disapointed is that the voice guide function don’t seem to get updates in
regards to new functions and that could be possible without much work.
So be it, I thought first if I shouldn’t sell my genos at
Thanks. That’s good to know.
Do you use it with QWS at all? If so, how well does that work? If I get it
someday, my primary use for it would be with QWS and Logic Pro.
God bless!

Very certain.
I have a Tyros 5 that definitely is much more accessible for the blind.
If you want to have fun deeply inside the menus on Genos you’re lost.

That is in fact, simply wrong. The genos has a voice guide and that makes it
accessible to a certain Degree.
Set: The accessibility of the genos is more Basic than I thought at first. You
can select styles and sounds, make simple Recordings and you can select Presets
of the voice harmonizer and
Curious to hear about the Genos as well. I know there is the Voice Guide
feature, which ...works, but I'm curious how well it works. The big issue I
had with the Motif line of keyboards is that there were such a huge amount

I am aware of the touch screen, but Yamaha alto came up with something called
voice guide to help remedy that issue. Problem is, I can’t get a solid answer
about how well it works. That’s why I was hoping that since Nicholas owns it,
he could tell me more.
God bless!

I am interested in new keyboards / pianos as well.
Wonder of any qws user on this list is playing nord keyboards / pianos?
Love my nord elektro 3 but it is kind of difficult to operate when you
are blind. For example:
you need to use a menu function to transpose.
