I had tagging on a earlier version of paperclipped, it was actually very to add. You could install the tagging extension, which I believe is based on has_many_polymorphs. Then just tell the tag model to reference assets as well as pages. Let me know if you need any pointers. Personally, I h

I've been thinking about this recently too. It should be fairly simple to use the ActsAsTaggable plugin. It would also be nice to add some additional tags to find by tags and probably a way to sort when enumerating. You could also change the admin to show tags as folders, similar to Gmail

Chiming in here. I have used Paperclipped with images, PDFs and Movies. However it relies on the browser knowing what MIME type it is uploading so make sure yer browser does that correctly. I can't remember what I had to do with FF in Linux to make it realise it was uploading a movie but I had
