I read this thread with amazement. I have a SB Radio on order with
Amazon, I placed the order on Sept 3 and simply assumed that a product
marketed as a bedside radio (with alarm) would have a snooze button.
This is the most basic of functionality. The Boom, of which I have 3,

Hello,
Could someone tell me if it possible to automatically have the last
preset played when you power on the radio (like a real radio, as it is
claimed the the Squeezebox radio behaves like a real radio).
Should be nice in a bathroom when you power on the light (and this
powers on as well
Logitech and Amazon both still say pre-order.

With respect to snooze buttons being for sissies - well, be that at it
may, this sissy doesn't always wake up immediately and builds those 9
minutes into the morning routine. Sounds as though I'm not alone in
this regard.
With respect to the lack of a snooze button being a fatal flaw, I

The option to play the tracks on a Boom is available from the

I do not have a controller. Doesn't seem like that should be a
prerequisite for playing the tracks, considering I can get the
narrative.

The radios were not released from our dc's until yesterday morning. They
were held at the dc's until the software was ready to go.
Orders placed on www.logitech.com and Amazon.com should start shipping
today.
Our site www.logitechsqueezebox.com will receive our initial shipment
tomorrow and will

and when the red version will be available to order in the UK please?
It's not showing as an option on the Logitech or Amazon stores over

Yes, but removing power will require a complete Radio re-boot (guessing
around 60 seconds). But yes it will then start playing the station it
was playing when it was turned off (removed power).
In a more normal usage mode, the Radio will be turned off (actually,
standby) by pressing the Power

I tried with controller, I can see the lyrics and pictures.
Commentary and actual tracks don't play it just says 'file not found'.
So maybe they 'fixed' it in the meantime that it will only play on
radio. ?
It seems that, bizarrely, the Queen app is not supported

Considering I would have bought the Radio over the internet it's too
much of a risk and simply too much hassle to buy it only to find the

waiting for the successor Radio II, or buying an alternative to replace

How about this:
The biggest control on the product is a SNOOZE button which is a
gigantic button on the front of the unit.
Oh, and it can also be used for scrolling. :)

Get this. I have the Radio on my desk along with the Touch and am

If it does something silly I just reach over and stop playback, turn it
