What do you see if you select My Music > Artists, or My Music > Albums,
is everthing there?

mysqueezebox.com, press and hold the back button for a few seconds until
it bumps, then scroll to "connect to mysqueezebox.com".

Just had a similar experience yesterday, returned from holiday, attached
power supply to socket at back of my Radio, nothing, needed to pull the
plug and reseat it a couple of times, it then fired up.
My Boom sometimes does the same.
I'm not a fan of the barrel type connectors.

I don't think it *is* any different, you need have highlighted whatever
you wish to assign a button to *on your Radios screen.

Using your radio controls or an IR remote, browse to and highlight the
playlist you wish to assign to a preset (don't set it playing), press
and hold a preset button until you get a confirmation
