Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Napster problems
Big thank you to Michael Herger. After Napster stopped working, I followed this thread and I found a good solution for me to overcome the SSL issue on my QNAP using SSOTS. I installed QLogitechMediaserver on my QNAP TS-251 and removed the other LMS installation. So now my Napster account works fine again. But I also found out, that I should use Spotify to overcome the issue that Napster is not playing on SB Boom and Receiver. So I got a Spotify account to test it and it works with all of my Squeezeboxes. Thanks again to Michael for Spotty! I only faced some pauses playing a Spotify stream, where the Boom says "buffering" Christoph 2 Duet, 2 Radio, 1 Boom, Napster Account christoph02's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=25890 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108787 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

- I am running a MARVELL Kirkwood 88F6282 on a DS212+ with DSM 6.1.5, latest update. System too old? I think the crucial part will be whether you have IO::Socket::SSL on that system or not (as pinkdot mentioned). Try to install eg. the Radio Paradise plugin. It would tell you if IO::Socket::SSL was missing. If you have that module, you should be able to get Napster working again, as it's a single line change only. -- -- Michael ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

What are you leaving with: the player? The controlling app? FWIW: I've sent a mail to my contact at Napster's to learn what they changed. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Napster problems
One small further surprising remark is that the request to the stream - when leaving the local network - is not accessing the mediaUrl via https, but with http. And this one ALWAYS reports Error 400 - even though the tokens on the same url with https get the already mentioned correct response within Chrome or any other browser. So it could be, that resolving to non https / SSL causes the error already... yosherl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67937 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108787 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

I can even use the URL with curl in a terminal window. So I guess, the error is somewhere inside the plugin? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I'm getting the same. The 400 bad request is really odd because the URL works in Chrome. A few things: - first thing first: change your mysb.com password. Your posting came with a session cookie which would have allowed an attacker to connect to mysb.com in your name. I've removed the information from the posting. - unsync your player (if it was: there's mention of it in the log file) - make sure your NAS has the latest firmware -- Michael ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
