I'm not running 650b but have Gravel Kings smooth tread in a 700C x 38. I set them up tubeless on Velocity Quill Rims and run them at 28psi. ( I weigh around 160). I love this setup! I have tried a multitude of tires through the years and find that these are the ones that I am 100% happy with.

I don't claim to "know", but I suspect it has to do with the Clem now being considered part of the Hillibike stable. My crude measurements on a new 52 compared to the numbers in the geometry chart on the frame page are: Effective top tube has increased 3 cm. (61 to 64), front center by 7 cm.
