Currently on Soma Portola 52cm bars which are great (but only dialed in

Road a friends 46cm Noodles for a while too.
My trend has been toward less drop, more width. But I don't seem to want

I am in search of a drop bar similar to the Noodle, but offered in 25.4 clamp
diameter and preferably as wide as possible (48-52cm target width). I’ve seen
lots of comments and analysis on the M174 “Fairweather Allroad” bar and the
RM013 “Dirt Drop” bar. Never tried either, but I rode the
The way to think of it is two road frames with about the same reach or

I was surprised going from 32 cog to 36 also..there was no adjustment on
mine either. The high and low limit screws were the same but figured the B
screw might need adjusting. Love that Altus.

I have the Altus on my Atlantis with 11-36 9 speed shifted with Silver2
shifters. Shifts great. Previous cassette was 12-32. No adjustments
needed.

If Andrew sells his gree w/ gold cap and someone else wants another, I have
one too. Worn only a few minutes - just didn't fit the shape of my head.

I think the completes will sell out just as fast except for the largest
size. The bike market has been forever changed because of the pandemic. It
is going to take 5 years for the supply chain to adjust to a 10% increase
in world wide demand.
On Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 1:34:04 PM UTC-7
The completes are in September. They might be an easier grab than just the
frame. Maybe you can grab one and swap parts and sell whatever is extra? It
is such a crazy market. I know that Rivendell doesn't like it any more than
we do.

For the record, I am holding out for a miracle. No parts are up for grabs
yet. It would be a Velocity wheel set, Silver crank, silver deore 9sp RD,
and a cassette for now.

If anyone is sourcing parts I have a nice heap that seem to be useless now.

An Altus Rear Der can easily swing 9 or 10 speed in friction.

Now is a good time to stock up on a few Altus rear derailers. They are
cheap and still plentiful. They shift great in friction, look super cool
with a huge lower pulley. The only people who shouldn't have one or two
on-hand would be people who never want to set up a good inexpensive bike,

I'm in the same boat. I would look at the Velo Orange Flat Pack Rack.
I'm not 100% sure how/if the VO rack would work with the top-of-fork-crown
