This depends so much on the airline and the staff. That said, I have more than
once seen a brompton stashed in the overhead bin, no bag or anything.
I would stash mine in a tyvek bag. As long as it fits the size requirements for
carry on it should be alright.

If you want the aesthetic of a quill stem the best and safest way to achieve
that is to replace the fork with a threaded one, and a threaded headset.
There are other ways to use a quill stem or get a threaded steerer but they all
come with cost, difficulty, and various levels of safety

As far as I know all phil wood bolt on hubs allow this. Any hub brand where the
bolt provides the “shelf” that the dropout rests on will work the same. With
the bolts removed all the way the hub is only as wide and the hub flange and it
can drop out.

excessive play in the internals. Thicker washers don't help. Tightening it

My experience tells me these levers will not pair well with a Dynasys or 11s
RD. In fact, I think the Silver 1 shifters probably offer better adjustability
when used as downtube shifters. I use those older style silvers to friction
shift a 10s rear cluster on one bike and

I think the dia compe 750s might be too long, even at the highest point of
the brake pads. Have you looked at the gran compe 610? It looks like a
high quality brake with a lower price than the paul brakes have. I have
to say though, paul brakes are worth saving up for if you can wait.
