After visiting Riv this week and riding a medium Gus and a large Susie, I’ve
decided that I’d prefer the large Susie. I’ve got an orange Gus size medium
incoming next month. Does anyone have an incoming dark gold Susie in size large
that would rather have a medium Gus? If so let’s chat!
Gotta try Uncle Ronnie’s Ortho Bars! I just got a mis-centered set from kind
member here on the forum. Have yet to mount them as I’m waiting for a Gus to
put them on. But mocking them up next to my Albatross bars they seem like a
real win!

It’s been great hearing about how people are keeping track of miles. From what
I’ve gathered, some sort of journal or spreadsheet seems to be the way to keep
track of long term data. As far as collecting data, there are many options and
pros and cons to all.
My current method of tracking via
If they are the knobby RH tires, then they will probably grip better on the
dirt than these tires. I have the 26” RH Humptulips on my Bstone MB2 and they
are so nice that it doesn’t make me feel bad for what I paid for them,
especially in comparison to what I paid for the bike! And they roll
The Ultradynamico tires are nice. They are very comfortable and the bike feels
great (and fast) with them. I’m running the Rose up front which holds fine on
the loose dirt around here. On pavement it rolls fine with a bit of a whirring
sound that’s not as distracting as full on knobbies but
How is everyone keeping track of mileage on your bikes? I’m curious what
methods people are using.
I’ve occasionally tracked with a GPS watch only to never look back at the data,
let alone tally up a cumulative mileage count. I mostly ride without tracking
as it makes it less about the stats
I have a limited knowledge of how all these parts work together but its my
understanding that Shimano 9 speed MTB rear derailleur is the same cable pull
as Shimano 10 speed road shifters. I am using a 10 speed Shimano bar end
shifter with a rapid rise XT rear derailleur and it indexes a 10
I’m looking for one too! If there are multiples out there put me down for one
please.
