Joe, good luck with the sale! Appa's seem to be moving well so I hope a
buyer snaps it up soon.
Any ride is a good ride, even if it does require a bit of an assist.
Take care,

Bruce, many thanks for the feedback. As I suspected the Ram is a bit more
stout. There was a RivReader piece from years ago when Henry Kingman was
riding a Ram prototype set up for light touring. I believe he was going on
a week long tour. Full camping gear; beautifully packed!
Thanks again,
Richa
Wow! "French fender day". All that beautiful beausage. Thanks for the

John, just my 2 cents but my Atlantis has drop bars and I've done all day rides
with no problem as I'm sure other Atlantis owners in the group have too.
My limited experience with upright bars (Albatross) leads me to believe doing
an all dayer would not be as comfortable but YMMV.

Whew! Glad we cleared that up! Thanks for the visuals Steve.

Well, I'm the "rubbery" person but you know "slingshot" would have worked
too. Especially if you like to carry a means of self defense when you're
pedaling along.

My Atlantis and Sam both ride wonderfully. Sometimes it's difficult to
decide which one to ride. I attribute their superior ride characteristics
to Grant's superior skills as a bicycle designer.

If it's a sage green Sam then quite possibly. I rode to St. Mtn. one day last
week to look at the tent camping sites. For me an easy Sub 24 ride/camp out. A
little over an hour one way from my house.
Riv/iBob ride would be great!

Selling Rivs and allowing a customer access to their shop to build wheels? Talk
about full service. That is over the top! You may be right about best shop
ever. Certainly in the Pantheon of great shops.
Thanks!
