This post seems to be sticking around. So I might as well add to it...back
in 2010...maybe 2009 whatever...I was hit pretty hard by the "Great
Recession" and at Christmas time things were really tight. So it was just

I always wonder-i betcha there are a lot of cool bikes around. And right now I
have a lot of bikes. I feel a bit self indulgent but I don't feel too bad when
I think of the use. I have a pretty bikey family, a bike job and live in a
great city to ride bikes in. I don't drive much either-like
I happened to have my tape measure and Sam super handy. I got 65mm. But that's
with human eyes. Riv posted on their blog a while back the super duper facts of
the frame I'd check the archives. That'll tell you everything!

I'll probably just end up riding it all year. My problem really is pure and
utter laziness. I can't remember the last time I cleaned any of my bikes. I
figure it'll probably rain soon-it always does. That's cleaning. And in the

Rene, tough choice and bummer. Your bikes are stunners-guess the best thing
about that is however you proceed you still have two really awesome bikes.
I will say I've bought and sold many a bikes-like a lot of us have- and the
only two I have ever regretted selling were an Atlantis and a
iPhone won't let me pm. Or at least I don't know how. Pretty sure I have some
spares. If I can find them you can just have them. I could mail them Tuesday. I
bet a local lbs might have a few extras as well. Mine always seems to at least.

Thought I would just ask here before I go on a spending spree. What's the
absolute biggest tire it will take? Currently have 41's that are more like

Just my two cents I lucked into a used Atlantis a few years ago. Low and behold
I sold it (my wife and I were paying for our wedding-needed the money etc). I
love my wife but boy do I regret selling it! I have a riv again- albeit not an
Atlantis- but a good blue Bleriot that fit the budget! I

What did I do?
I went to put my the rack on my Atlantis. Well I wasn't paying attention and
tightened thebolt to replace the brake studs I tightened and realized and
loosened and corrected. Well now the brake has zero spring tension and I could
barely get the damn thing off the brake stud.
That's what I thought I checked twice. It's like all o the sudden the brake is
too small for the post it won't pivot and I have enough grease on there to last
a lifetime!

Generally most of my bikes range in the 51 cm range, that is where they
are comfy to me. Riv sizing seems to be different though.
