As a big fan of vintage mountain bikes, I mostly like the bullmoose for aesthetic purposes. I find that the need for multiple hand positions is more a symptom of a bike that doesn't fit me well, so I have never had a problem with them. Nice and wide, can't beat those fillet joints. Had them on

The chainstays aren't the defining characteristic of Jones geometry! On the LWB with truss fork the HTA is 67.5 and the fork has 76mm offset. Looks like short wheel base HTA is 69 and unicrown fork offers 55mm offset. So you're still getting a long wheelbase that offers stability but more from

I don't understand why these tote style bags always have tiny little handles. I would love one with slightly longer handles so you can either carry it or put it over a shoulder comfortably. This is the case with like 90% of cloth tote bags! I like the roll top feature, easy way to keep water

Use a left hand drill bit to extract. As the bit grabs the metal it spins it counter-clockwise. Much safer than EZ outs which I don't trust. I've done this with old bolts that break on my 72 Honda motorcycle. On Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 1:31:01 PM UTC-4, jandrews wrote: > > Hi > I have a bolt

On both my SA saddles break in time was nil. Perfect out of the box. I would not recommend conditioning the leather too much as they are known for stretching rather fast. Tighten/loosen the bolt as needed, I usually just have about a finger tip width between under the saddle and the seatpost

I had imagined the possibility of a Riv off-roader replacing my current Clem, as riding off road is 95% of my riding now, but this bike repeats the same design flaw as the Clem. Jones Bikes prove that you can have a huge wheelbase for an awesomely stable ride on a Mtn bike, but it shouldn't
