I have a medium black in great condition serial number 0034. I have it on a
Tout Terrain that I’m planning on selling the bike, so I could part with it. I
searched a long time for it and will take $250 for it.

Which seems to show a metal badge on a black bag. So maybe zipper color is
a clue? Did all colors
The metal badge should be a clue. To the best of my knowledge, all the
Saddlesacks that came with the metal badge were the olive color. I recall
black, but I think it was after they moved to cloth badges.

hey weth, if you search through the riv archives, there's a mention to the
effect that the black color, after a very brief run, was being changed by
the supplier of the canvas to a dark greenish, grayish color, which is
probably what's on ebay. good luck with the black. tom
