I've had Big Apple 50s on my QB, and now I run Marathon Supreme 40s. Both
handle fine. I switched because the BA's, albeit incredibly comfortable,
were slower than I wanted. The MS 40s are a great fit for the QB and quick
enough for my purposes.

About the airpump hose and chuck: My airpump hoses wore out on some old
pumps, so, I saved the chuck and the metal fitting at the other end that
goes into the pump, got some air hose from the auto parts store and a

I bent a fork forward like that (actually broke it) but not in any riding
mode. It was on top of my Jeep and I ran it into my carport (forgetting it
was up there) No other damage, but the combination of the force and the way
the bike was held (Thule upright mount) the fork took the force
