they started talking about the diaga-Bomba, and I called in, paid the diff,
upgraded to it instead.
When I first built up my Bomba, I was running 2.4 NeoMotos on it (under
fenders).I then tried out swapping to my 700c
I built up my 56 Bomba w/ NeoMotos originally; then I swapped and was
running my Ram's 700c wheelset (I am using Motolite brakes, so I could
slide the pads up to fit the 700c wheel). I did go back to 650b on the
Bomba, built a 650b wheelset for the Ram (and am running the 700c wheelset

up a long linear valley, right into the wind... the wind was running a

Interesting I'm on Windows (XP here at work still), using Firefox;
via the treefree site told it to print, it spooled it all first; but

Just a couple of months ago, I was shopping for a new bike for my
daughter, and I'd sent a similar note to Grant, saying it'd be
interesting to see his 'expanded sizing' ideas used for a kids bike.
Then recently, Yehuda's had his 'grow bike' idea
I just replied over in the other thread (didn't realize this one had
spun off);
Instead of a true kids' bike, I went with the smallest ladies MTB bike
for my 9-yr-old daughter; it dodged the 'kids-size' wheels, has
regular 26" MTB wheels on it, is big enough that I can raise the
seatpost and ride

First wheelset Rich built for me, my 700c set, was on older XT hubs and
Dyad rims; just about perfect, for me.
The second wheelset he built for me was a 650b Synergy set, but switched to
LX hubs because he was out of the older XT hubs. Again, a great set.
The wheelset I built myself, I used 650b
I'm 250, ride B17's on each of my Riv's, haven't had any problems w/ the
saddles yet...

I stuck w/ drops, but very similar w/ what I was doing w/ the canti-Rom; I
really like the MSO tire. The Rom didn't have the issue w/ the derailleur
that you ran into, but the IGH is a good solution in this case. Like the
color, too.

Thing is, I had another 650b bike, so, all it cost me to try it out was a
pair of long-reach calipers, just bummed the wheels off of the Bomba for a
bit... since it worked, I built a 650b wheelset for the Ram
