Sorry for the late reply. I did confirm what our customer support said which is the PAE models had the search mode setting improved but that was about it. In the case of sensitive controls it is most likely distortion causing the issue. As suggested a 50mf cap at the appliance sometimes can help

Hi Chris, All the aux relays are voltage controlled so not sure what setting you would use to activate the fan? I would assume you are trying to turn the fan on based on high temperature in an enclosure or something so battery voltage wouldn’t be a good indicator. We have military and vehicle ap

It's 4.4 (x2) I parallel so should be ok. Usually if the battery based inverter is too small the SB would "push" the voltage around until the SB disconnects. Gary Baxter Product Manager Magnum/Dimensions On Dec 18, 2014, at 9:52 AM, Drake mailto:drake.chamber...@redwoodalliance.org>> wrote: O

Good point on the battery monitor. It would be easy to add a Magnum BMK to system and get the battery history. Also the ARC (advanced remote control) stores fault history so you can see when the LBCO occurred along with battery voltage etc. Gary Baxter Product Manager Magnum/Dimensions On Dec

Remember this is an AC coupled system so it does not sound like anything except the inverter is connected to the battery. No charge controller or accessories are needed for ac coupling. In an AC coupled system the inverter/charger is connected to the grid all the time and should be in Float mod

It is important to remember even the inverter will draw some DC from the battery in the "OFF" mode. Typically it's like 150ma or so which would take a long time to discharge a large bank. Also the inverter would completely turn off astound 5v, 10v and 20v respectively for 12v, 24v and 48v models

Hi Mac, Jay just had the same issue and it was 120v from the gen instead of 120/240. The inverter was charging using half the windings causing it to Overtemp. Check the 60A breakers on the side of the inverter. Also make sure to remove the wires from the input terminal block before measuring vol

Mac, You should be able to add another BP-S next to the existing unit and just “add on” without taking anything existing apart. There is also a BP-MMP which only fits the Magnum mini panel and will not add on to the BP-S. If you look on the website you will see the difference in the mounting fla

We have been asked to lower the DC input voltage to take advantage of these batteries. What engineering is saying is we can't go low enough on the low side and still produce peak AC voltage. Seems these batteries are catching on might need to revisit this again. Gary Baxter Product Manager Magn

Hi Jeremy, I think you are talking about two different things here. LBX mode in the SW was for connecting to an AC input which is the same using Connect VDC with the Magnum. I think what you are referring to here is the cut in voltage after a low battery cutout. On all Magnum inverters the VDC
