My cost for Discover AES has come down 5% from a year ago. L16 AGM are
still 2 times the cost of L16 flooded which move around in cost normally
with the price of lead.
So, I would say LFP is a bit more than 2X flooded

I would like to see the LFP price come down in price, I have seen some
cheap POS's coming out of China $3800 for a 10kWhr battery but they have
very little surge capability so the LBCO shuts down the inverter, Blue
Planet seems to be holding on their price, Have not heard anything

The Chevy, Tesla, Nissan are all NMC lithium. Residential is mostly all
LFP except LG.
NMC is about 1/2 the weight as LFP also. Different design goals is my
take.

Hi all,
I was doing some research on the Chevy bolt, and found that it’s battery cost
about $145 per kWh in 2015.
All the batteries I can find for sale for offgrid small systems ( 10-100 kWh)
are in the $700-1000 per kWh
Does anyone have insight into this.
Or maybe better put, ways to buy a
