My experience is that this was a low volume product that most distributors
don't stock. We sell it on the Enphase store as a service to installers and
homeowners. .

Hi Dave
You can get a used Envoy-R to talk to the local microinverters, but you will
not be able to reassign it to the new site. You will have to beg Enphase to do
this for you. Sometimes this costs money if they think you are reassigning the
whole system to a new owner.
But why bother? The
I have a client with a large woodworking shop…cabinet table saw, large 20”
240V bench planer, chop saws, compressors and a vacuum system. A single Sol
Ark 15K takes care of these loads flawlessly. It seems that that inductive
load snag with the smaller models has been resolved with the 15K.
Best,
We too have a couple of customers whose Envoys have done the offline, memory
filled, then bricked issue and we are waiting for a good solution to be able to
offer them.-GlennSent from my 'smart'phone, so please excuse typos and spelling

Thanks, Nick.
Is that available through distribution at wholesale pricing?

Enphase sells the Envoy-S Standard which includes a 120V cord. These can be
purchased on the Enphase store at:

The Envoy-S Standard does not require hardwiring.

A while ago I posted some questions about shipping. I know this is
tangential to solar installation, but you can’t install what you can’t get.
I got my rail but there were some hiccups. I thought some of you might
benefit from my experience:

Be very careful with old units on eBay. They may not be usable. There was a
security certificate update that was necessary to keep units communicating
with Enlighten. If the unit was offline and the update was not applied, it
was essentially bricked from a remote upgradeability standpoint. I can't
There is not anything I know of that will out surge XW pro 6948. A great
monitoring platform and much better support/installer training in the
last 18 months. Perfect for a shop with unknown peak surges.

Hi Mac
The radian is low voltage transformer
Based. Has hella surge capacity
I would consider what web based monitoring system he wants and go with that
platform.
Regardless of system I’d install soft start/vfd on the larger units. Just
easier on everything.

Larry.
Hera's an idea. Put a 1:1 isolation transformer of suitable power rating
between the inverter and load. The iron core will act as a energy
storage element allowing for a cleaner ac waveform during start.

Any new AC equipment connected and running during test? Scope the waveform
during equipment start to see if the distortion is severe. I have seen a 300W
load make a mess of a Magnum AC waveform.

Good question Larry,
Rock solid 52V on a lithium battery system. Doesn't appear to be a battery
problem at all.

Hello Wrenches,
I have a new client that has ran a pretty decent wood shop for about 10
years on a Magnum 4448. He's got some large loads, planers, saws,
compressors vacuums etc. They are really nice, heavy duty pieces of
equipment. Amazingly, the Magnum has been able to start these loads for
