Ryan, If you haven't tried the Apollo Solar controller you might consider it. We have many installed and they seem, after an intially rough start, to be a superior product. I have yet to use the high voltage model but plan to at the first opportunity. You can configure the panels to 200 VDC OC.

Ben, Here in Maine we don't install diesel gennies in off grid applications. Typically, diesel gennies require a block heater which can use as much as 1000 watts. Unless this is a tremendously large off grid system it won't be a good idea to go that way. Why not just use a propane gennie. The
