Well like they say, you can't fix it if it ain't broke. Good deal. Funny how unterminated antenna's can interact with other systems. Much the reason for tieing up the loose ends at a communications site. Hope it never returns.Mathew "Bob M." [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: First, I would like to

Hi Ken,
It is always a good practice to use a isolator in com sites. Look at it this way if you loose an antenna you most likley save your amp. Not to mention if your in a site with public safety it is a good idea.

I would agree that it's good practice. However in this
situation, the only other equipment at the site is
cellphone stuff. And if they lose an antenna and the
amp goes, they'll just have to get it all fixed. I
don't know how long the repeater would continue to
transmit without an antenna anyway,

I have a small uhf ham system ( 5 uhf+1 VHF +hub) all

Hello,
Is there any other controllers in a kit
Well Bob I'd bet the problem is gone for good. There's nothing like
having really good feed back from your antenna to the area of your
receiver with out going through the receive side of the duplexer. It
sounds like a little item called a passive repeater, think about it.
I'm interested in

Paul, If you don't need the second radio port, look at the NHRC 2
it's a great controller you can build it with or without the voice
ID'er.
Contact Jeff or Pete at NHRC they may make you a deal on 10. they're
nice guys and have great product.

Does anyone have a Mastr II UHF station/repeater you would be willing to
sell?
I'm looking for the chassis with PA, although does not have to be
working.
Thanks,

Sorry, at $249.00 that would be #2,490.00 for the ten controllers. NHRC-4
is 40 bucks plus parts that add up to about 20.

Not real happy with NHRC right now, would tell you about it privately.
Looking for something in that price range though.

It was a TxRx 4-can duplexer. The specs were 100dB,
and it made that but just barely (102-103 is what I
measured). 1.1dB passband loss. I could get the model
number, but I believe it's a stock model, just tuned
for the ham band. They use RG142 throughout. The
connectors on the duplexer look like
They use BNC's. In my opinion, the best UHF duplexer out there.

I can also program with -20 modules the right channels.
The software is giving up a warning about frequencies
but it'll generate the files anyway.

470-494 MHz split. Convertible to 70 cm amateur but not worth the trouble
IMO when there are lots of 88 radios out there.
