Well I will agree with Nate on this one.. The crazy D-Star will only do it's AMBE digital and will not pass analog voice... At least when using a Quantar/Quantro with P25 capability you can set it up with CAI (Clear Air Interface)/P25 IMBE and it will do either analog voice or P25 digital. You

I believe I would ask for a 9.6 kb/s digital voice repeater coordination (or maybe 4.8 kb/s) occupying a 10 khz or 20 khz bandwidth and let the coordinators sort it out. Be it DSTAR, P25, AOR DV (this works pretty nice on an FM repeater) Alinco's format or some new and yet to be decided format, it
