parts of the country, sites are extremely difficult to come by and keep.
Municipal sites can be a real challenge because of liability and
security concerns.
His Ham License Gives him the Right to put up a tower the city Doesn't
have the right to govern comn. Only FCC. He can put a 200 ft tower if he
wants. They might require him to have insurance.

by a Municipal Utility. We even offered them talkgroups on the system. We
needed two vertical antennas and 2 microwave dishes. They were more

problems no questions free of charge.
It did however take them forever to bring our request in front of the
commission meeting since it was not a pressing issue.
