Hi guys, Our local group is heavy into ARES/RACES and Community Service, and it helped us get permission to locate on any "county owned structure" in our county.  Just one hitch...  each site requires a 1 million dollar liability policy.  If you play-up the community service angle, it will open a lot of doors for your group. Another nice thing about it is that when lightning came into the hut through a "county owned" microwave link and destroyed our gear, the county picked-up the tab for 3 new vertex repeaters and all the trimmings!!! It did however take them forever to bring our request in front of the commission meeting since it was not a pressing issue.
