Anyone have an Overland LoaderXpress 10 Cartridge Library or any Overland
product?
I hear they have good expandability.
We are thinking of purchasing one.
Just want to benefit from your experiences (good or bad.)

Irena,
The explanation below goes a long way to explaining the problems I
had after ugrading my Backup server (running Retro 4.3) to OS 9
(which I managed to slowly figure out on my own). What I would really
like to do, though, would be able to set my server into the login
screen mode using M
Hello all,
My question might seem silly, yet I just want to make sure. At the end
of my nightly script after wrap-up I get a total performance line in my
log. Is this the average throughput of my backup?

You didn't note when the last machine was backed up. I'm guessing about

does not go through all my clients and I always have some not beeing backed
up on a nighly basis.

Hi Jim,
Because the Retrospect application and preferences are associated with a
particular user account, Retrospect is unable to function in unattended mode
if a user is not logged in. A scheduled script will not be able to run and a

You mean these ones?

I've got a Blue & White G3 running AppleShare IP 6.2. I'm backing up
to a LaCie AIT2 tape. Since I upgraded to Retrospect 4.3 (this
evening) I can't backup to it. I get [Device trouble "tape name",
error 102 (trouble communicating)].
I can still erase and eject tapes etc. The G3 is running Mac
Has anybody heard of a Firewire DAT drive. IOW, a DAT that could be
used from a Mac G4 Cube?
