MySQL vs SQLite
Your documentation says While useful and portable, SQLite does not handle large loads with many concurrent users very well. We strongly recommend using MySQL or PostgreSQL for a real deployment. So does it mean that MySQL is a winner over SQLite for scalabilty and stalability? Is there a boundary say X TeraBytes? Or X PteraBytes? Any infomation or detail would be helpful. Interesting comment. Thanks Jeff! We progressed through that by everyone reviewing the code and leaving notes, then meeting in the conference room to go over them, but dropped the face to face part shortly afterwards. review a new file
Hello, For a new file to be reviewed, there obviously is no diff. How do I submit a review without a diff? The only way I can think of, however I don't like very much, is to create an empty file in cvs and then issue the new file to artificially create a diff. But I am looking for a better way. But with 2.4, after installing the required packages python-setuptools python-devel ReviewBoard rb-site crashed due to missing packages. $ rb-site install /var/www/myrb Traceback (most recent call last): File /usr/bin/rb-site, line 7, in ? sys.exit( File /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pkg_resources.py, line 236, in load_entry_point return get_distribution(dist).load_entry_point(group, name) File /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pkg_resources.py, line 2096, in load_entry_point raise ImportError(Entry point %r not found % ((group, name),)) ImportError: Entry point ('console_scripts', 'rb-site') not found And as displayed above, the Django was not installed either. So with Python 2.4, did I miss any step to cause the library missing issue? Please advise. Btw, I am using Red Hat 2.5 which seems to ship Python 2.4 by default. I would suggest if your distro doesn't ship 2.7, just use the latest it does ship. 2.7 won't gain you anything with RB. If you install 2.7 and the distro doesn't provide it, yum won't be able to find any compatible modules for you. Re: rb-site install failed - ImportError: Entry point ('console_scripts', 'rb-site') not found
Do I need to remove python-setuptools python-devel ReviewBoard from Python 2.4? And install them int Python 2.7? How do I remove these egg files?
