Ahhh, I see where the confusion comes from. Perhaps we should make this more clear in the UI... Since you have Redmine selected, Review Board already knows what the path setup should be for the bug tracker. So what the bug tracker URL is really asking for is the base path to your bug tracker. Revi

Okay, something about this is definitely confusing me, because what you're explaining doesn't really match how it works. Can you please screenshot the page where you entered that URL (before saving and after) and e-mail it to me privately? Feel free to blur everything but the bug URL, but I do need

But actually it either removes a part of the link or appends some extra thinks to the url i have provided. At present i want to give "http://xx.xx.x.xxx:xxx/issues/%s"; in the bug url tab. But once i save the page it takes only "http:// xx.xx.x.xxx:xxx". Because of which i am not able to link this

It shouldn't ever be appending any text. It'll take what was entered in the Bugs field in the review request and place it where "%s" is in the URL. It really can't put any extra text in there unless it was provided in one of those forms. So I'm not really sure what you're seeing. Christian -- Ch

Hi Chetan, There is no issue. There is no way to post bug in Redmine using ReviewBoard. Only You can do is "link" to existing bug. That is all. On Thu, Sep 9, 2010 at 6:21 AM, Chetan wrote: > Guys can someone throw some light on this issue? I think this to be a > bug what do u guys suggest?.

Sorry forgot to add the actual link which i tried and not working. As we have to just point to the issues when i give the link "http://xx.xx.x.xxx:xxx/issues/%s"; in RB project bug tracker url it only takes "http://xx.xx.x.xxx:xxx/"; Some urls are not takenwhat cud be the reason for this.

Hi, I want to first make sure we're both clear on what you're trying to do and what you can do. Review Board can't post to bug trackers today. It's a way to link to existing bug trackers, so that if someone references an existing filed bug in a review request, we can provide a handy link to it. In
